Ph.D. in Economics works as the Executive Director of Samarthan over the last 30 years. He is internationally known for his expertise in participatory planning, training, action research, participatory governance. Over the last 35 years of his experience, he worked as team leaders of several large-scale projects on drinking water, sanitation, sustainable agriculture, women empowerment and local governance. He has strong credibility and collaborative relationship with the state and district administration being part of several committees of the Government of MP. 

Shrdha Kumar, BSC,MSW, PGDBA, is working with Samarthan as Program Director. She has more than 20 Years of experience in project implementation, capacity building and research. She has provided support and strategic guidance to team for large capacity-building programs, including that of identifying and training women from Village Organizations of SRLM, PRIs, youth and other CBOs. She has facilitated the improved implementation of large programs in Samarthan on accountability in program management of NREGS through partner organizations.

MA in Sociology, MSW, is working as Sr. Program Manager in Samarthan. He has 17 years of diverse experience working in agriculture, food security, WASH, women empowerment, community, and student mobilization. In his career he has been associated with PACS and SRLMs

Ashis has been engaged with Samarthan as Programme Specialist for leading the team of WWA program implemented in Sehore, Khandwa, and Indore since July 2021.  Ashish has a PG in Rural Development Management from (XISS) and Specialization in Management for Sustainability in Water and Sanitation Programme (IRC/ MDF),  Netherlands. Ashish has about 33 years of experience in the development sector and 20 years of progressive experience in Sanitation and Drinking-Water sector.  

M.Phil in Political Science works as senior program manager in Samarthan. He has over 12 years of rich experience in project management, research, capacity building and coordination with government department. During his engagement with Samarthan, he has implemented numerous projects on environment benefits of MGNREGA, watershed, water & sanitation and labour migration. In a career of 12 years, he has developed several community centric models of kitchen garden, rain water harvesting, SLWM and assisted state to replicate those models at larger scale.

Rishi, an agriculture graduate, brings over 10 years of cross-thematic expertise in partnerships, project, and program management. His specialization lies in designing, implementing, and evaluating development programs focused on livelihood, education, environment, WASH, and skill building for children, women, and youth. Throughout his journey, Rishi has played a crucial role in enhancing the capacity of implementation teams across diverse programs, ensuring effective execution and strategic, result-based outcomes. His contributions extend to developing monitoring and evaluation frameworks for program success.

Mr. Vinod Choudhary has done MSW . He is working as Programme Coordinator since 2016. He is a  result-oriented professional with more than 15 years of experience in the development sector especially in the field of WASH, Women Empowerment, Governance (Rural/Urban), Livelihood, Watershed management, HIV/AIDS, and Networking with UN agencies, NGOs & Govt. Departments.

Rishiraj, with a robust 17-year work history in esteemed agencies like Reliance Foundation, Solidaridad, and CSPC, brings profound expertise in Watershed Development, Sustainable Farming, Micro Irrigation, Agriculture, Water Governance, and Local Democracy. Holding a Bachelor's in Soil Conservation and Water Management, and a Master's in Rural Management & Technology, he is presently the Programme Manager at Samarthan. In this role, he spearheads the Agriculture and Water-related Vertical, providing strategic support and guidance for impactful initiatives.

Ashish holds a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from Balaji Institute of Technology, Kerwan. He has rich experience in watershed development and soil & moisture conservation. Here in Samarthan, he is implementing micro watershed project IWMP – 06 (PMKSY), aiming per drop more crop for farmers. He is also a water budgeting expert and supported in preparation of water budget for more than 20 gram panchayats.
